Tuchel tells Boehly he wants £350k-a-week star signed for Chelsea
Todd Boehly, the owner of Chelsea, has been instructed to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang by Thomas Tuchel, who also insisted that he only sign top-tier players.
However, The late kickoff on Saturday is Everton’s season opener for Chelsea, who have welcomed a number of new stars to Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel, who reportedly described his team as average, believes that these are still insufficient, and he is eager to keep bolstering his squad in order to contend for the Premier League championship.
The German manager wants to add another striker to that attack, and over the past few months, he has been linked with a number of high-profile players. However, no deal has been completed as of yet.
But there have been some media reports in recent days that Chelsea is keen to try to bring Aubameyang back to the Premier League.
And considering that the German coach previously collaborated with Aubameyang while at Borussia Dortmund, Florian Plettenberg claims that the German coach wants to add Aubameyang to his squad next.
However, Barcelona would prefer Memphis Depay to leave rather than keeping the former Arsenal player as a top backup to Lewandowski.
Fans fell in love with Aubameyang after he joined the team on a free transfer in January and scored 13 goals in 23 games.
