Chelsea are already pleased with the impact of Thiago Silva in the Chelsea team, as the Brazil legend has helped shore up a defence that was leaky last season.
Blues fans may have junior Silva play for the club too if things go as planned.
Silva’s son, Lago, has joined Chelsea’s academy and has also begun training at the club.
A video was posted by Thiago Silva’s wife on social media of his son training at the club, and the youngster seemed excited joining the club.
At 36, Thiago Silva has proven to still be in form and shape, and Blues boss Frank Lampard has vowed to manage his game so he can be optimally used this season.
